SIEMENS Simulators Turning: DIAMON/DIAMOF/DIAM90

The 810D/840D and 802D control simulators in SYMplus™ support DIAMON, DIAMOF and DIAM90 programming.

Since in reality, depending on the version and machine manufacturer, different functions can be preset, it is best to write in the header of each NC program the command with which you usually want to work or which corresponds to the presetting on your control. However, you can also preset the desired function in the preset file of the simulator:

S80DDWC.INI   SINUMERIK 802D C (incl. driven tools)

In the [INTER_SPEC] section, simply write the line with the respective function, example:

[INTER_SPEC]
DIAMxx=DIAM90

Save the file. From the next start of the software, the function is preset for each NC program. Note that older programs may no longer run correctly if a different default setting was previously in effect.
