Enable URLs for the Update Manager in a Firewall

We recommend using our Update Manager to install regular KELLER software updates as part of plusCARE™. The Update Manager requires internet access, which can potentially cause problems if internet access restrictions exist.

A common way to solve this problem is to enable ("whitelist") the URLs used by the Update Manager in the central firewall.

The URLs used by the Update Manager are:

• https://update-api.cnc-keller.net
• https://lc-gateway.cnc-keller.com
• https://updates.cnc-keller.de
• https://custom-pp.cnc-keller.net

If you are still using an older version of the KELLER software (specifically Update 65 or older), you must also allow the following URLs:

• http://lc-gateway.cnc-keller.com
• http://updates.cnc-keller.de
• http://custom-pp.cnc-keller.net

In some cases, it may be necessary to allow access to "http://r11.o.lencr.org" and "http://r11.i.lencr.org/".
These URLs may be required to verify the SSL certificates of the hosts mentioned above.
